Hello hello! We are so excited to have all our new residents move in August 9th!!!!
In honor of move in day being less than a week away, I wanted to compile a list of our frequently asked questions with answers... just in case you need to know. ;) Of course, you can always review your lease and addendums or call/text the office! Be sure to also view the disclaimers listed at the bottom for maintenance notes and management contact.
Are the rooms/apartments decorated? NO, WE PROVIDE FURNITURE BUT NOT BEDDING, DECOR (INCLUDING CURTAINS) OR TOILETRIES.
Do we pro-rate rent, even in August with a later move-in day? NO, WE DO NOT PER OUR CORPORATE POLICY.
Can maintenance/staff help you move-in or install things (TV mounts, etc.)? NO, HELPING WITH PERSONAL BELONGINGS IS AGAINST OUR POLICY DUE TO LIABILITY ISSUES.
Are our units cleaned professionally before move-in? UNLESS YOU TOOK AN APARTMENT AS IS, YES. EACH ROOM/APARTMENT/BATHROOM IS PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED, PAINTED AND REPAIRED BEFORE YOU MOVE-IN.
Can you pay a portion of your balance online? NO. OUR RESIDENT PORTAL DOES NOT ALLOW PARTIAL PAYMENTS, IF YOU NEED TO PAY JUST A PORTION OF YOUR BALANCE YOU CAN DO SO WITH A MONEY ORDER IN THE OFFICE.
What is the Financial Aid Deferral Fee? THE DEFERRAL FEE ACTS AS A PLACEHOLDER FOR YOU SO THAT YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY AUGUST OR SEPTEMBER ON THE 1ST, AND INSTEAD PAY THE WHOLE FALL SEMESTER WHEN YOU GET YOUR REFUND SOMETIME IN SEPTEMBER. THIS WILL NOT TAKE THE RENT FOR EACH OF THOSE MONTHS OFF OF YOUR ACCOUNT.
Do we accept cash? NO
What is the Green Fee? IT HELPS PAY OUR SERVICE FEES AND ALLOWS US TO BE ABLE TO USE ONLIN E-PAYMENTS.
Can I mount my TV? AND/OR Can I have a mini fridge? YES, YOU ARE DEFINITELY ALLOWED.
What if you don't like your roommates? WE OFFER A TRANSFER OPTION, THERE IS A FEE BUT WE WILL HAPPILY MOVE YOU IF AVAILABILITY ALLOWS BASED ON YOUR ROOMMATE PREFERENCES AND SPACE.
Is renters insurance required? YES. WE REQUIRE RENTERS INSURANCE, YOU ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO USE YOUR OWN YOU JUST NEED TO PROVIDE US DOCUMENTATION BEFORE THE FIRST OF THE MONTH.

How do you get your mail? ALL 4 ROOMMATES WILL GET A SMALL GOLD KEY TAHT WILL ALLOW YOU GUYS ACCESS TO YOUR APARTMENT MAILBOX DOWN BY OUR OFFICE. OUR MAILROOM IS RIGTH TO THE RIGHT OF THE OFFICE DOOR.
Do you get our own key for your bedrooms? EVERYONE WILL GET THEIR OWN GOLD KEY THAT NO ONE ELSE IN THE APARTMENT WILL HAVE COPIES OF, TO SECURE YORU INDIVIDUAL PRIVACY.
*** DISCLAIMER FOR MOVE INS: Turn has been very short this year, we have been very under-staffed and we have had a LOT of people to get ready to move-in, SO it is possible that when you move-in something might have been over looked. If so, text us or call us to let us know what needs to be done and we will be more than happy to assist you.
*** DISCLAIMER FOR CURRENT RESIDENTS: With turn being as busy as it has been, our work orders are still VERY important even if turn around time has been slower than usual. We promise that we will get to your order as soon as we are able to and you are still a priority to us.
